ARTIST BIO

I started painting in 2010, and I like using oil as a painting medium for its richness of colour. The portrait is my favourite artistic expression - both humans & animals. I enjoy creating colourful art and using brush strokes to build the mood.

As an artist, I am constantly striving to improve my painting techniques. I believe that the more paintings I create, the more experienced and polished I become. While techniques are important, I also believe that following my heart is just as crucial when it comes to art. There are times when a spontaneous brush stroke or colour can add so much life and energy to a painting.

However, I do experience moments when I lose concentration, which can be frustrating. If I am not satisfied with a piece, I am not afraid to start again from scratch.

I have a particular passion for painting portraits and animals. With a keen eye for proportion and measurement, I am able to capture the likeness of my subjects. But what I enjoy most is using my brushes to convey the unique personality of each subject onto the canvas.
