Terry Keyt has experience in various mediums which include gouache, acrylics,pencil, lino cut prints and ceramics. \r\n \r\nHer subject matter and focus over the last six or seven years has related to mandalas. Mandala is the Sanskrit word for sacred circle. Terry uses the concept of the mandala to create intricate images of colour and symbolism that tell the story of connections within environments and connections between people their environments and their conscious selves. \r\n \r\nShe was co-owner of a gallery until 2013 where she exhibited and sold her works. She has also created locally commissioned artwork and exhibits in local galleries. The most recent show that she participated in was Red Hill Art on the Mornington Peninsula in April 2016. \r\n \r\nTerry has an art specialist teaching background, has worked as an environmental education officer, studied art therapy and facilitated art therapy workshops with adults. \r\n \r\nTerry lives on a 350 acre property on the Sapphire Coast of NSW with her partner and now paints full time. |
